River State University RSU or RVSU, formerly Rivers State University of Science and Technology (UST), is a university in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. It is located in the Diobu area. As of 2017, the institution has about 3,000 staff and has a student population of 22,400. It is Nigeria’s first technology university, as well as the country’s first institution to be located in the Niger Delta area. It was named Nigeria’s top e-learning institution in 2014, as well as the country’s 15th best university.
